I believe that yoga should be something everyone can enjoy instead of enduring. It shouldn't matter if this is the first time on your mat or you've been practicing for years, the time you give to yourself is so very
precious. Taking time out of a busy life to reconnect to your breath and your self makes the busy and the crazy easier.
I find such joy in watching the transformation of students, sharing their sense of wonder as their yoga journey unfolds before them and they achieve things they never thought possible.
Colleen has enjoyed bringing the beautiful practice of yoga to students for more than 13 years. She holds a 200-hour yoga certification (RYT), with additional training with Anusara,Iyengar, Prana Flow and Ayuyoga masters. She continues to be a student, studying Ayurveda and is soon to become a Reiki Master.We at Inspire are truly blessed to have her with us.
I have had the privilege of teaching yoga to both children and adults since 2012. I am currently working at CHOP where I have the honor of bringing yoga, breath work and mindfulness to pediatric patients and their families. I hold an ERYT500 certificate, am a registered Childlight yoga instructor, Yoga4cClassrooms Trainer and a Reiki and Yoga provider with Unite For Her. I am currently pursuing a M.S. Degree in Yoga Therapy.
Yoga called to me for the first time in 2004 while I was attending college. My initial intent was to become more flexible, as I've struggled most of my life with tight hips and hamstrings from years of playing soccer. As I began to grow in my practice, yoga became a reminder of the connection between my mind, body, breath and spirit. I believe in taking the compassion I feel on my mat and sharing it with the world.I feel honored to be a guide for my students on their journey.
Off the mat you can find me cooking, crossfitting, working with individuals with special needs and playing with my puppy!
I am so happy and excited to be joining the Inspire community. I have been personally transformed over the last 15 years, since I began my practice. Teaching and practicing yoga brings me such joy. I am excited to be able to share the benefits and knowledge I have attained throughout my journey, the journey that never ends as I continue to learn every day from students and my teachers. What a gift. I received my 200 hr RYT through Shiva Rea's Prana Flow yoga program. I am also a certified Yoga Life meditation practitioner and have attained my level 2 Reiki certification.
When I'm not on my mat I am first and foremost a Mom to two lovely daughters, an Esthestitian, a lover of all animals,
a people watcher and a deep thinker.

It's the all over bodily sigh, saying ahhh, the calm, clear minded, energetic hmmm that pervades the body after practicing yoga that has had me coming back to my mat since 1985. I practiced by myself for years, back when there were no yoga studios. It wasn't until I retired from teaching Middle School Art, that I decided to deepen my practice and get certified to teach. I believe that yoga should support your life so that you can move through your day with grace. I either teach or take yoga five days a week. When I'm not doing that I get myself into all kinds of trouble gardening, doing art, cooking, knitting, hiking, etc. I also provide Reiki at Neighborhood Hospice and yoga to Unite for Her clients. I am classically trained with certifications in Yin and Restorative Yoga. I also have master certifications in Usui/Holy Fire ll Karuna Reiki.
I feel so lucky to be welcomed into the Inspire community, it is such a warm and friendly place. I have been trained in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and power Vinyasa. I studied yoga at West Chester University's 200hr Teacher Training program and at Power Yoga Works in Malvern where I received an RYT200 as well as a specialized 60hr power Vinyasa certification.
I am studying to become a counselor and art therapist. I am a firm believer that yoga is for every body and that it improves mental and spiritual health as well as physical health.
In my free time you can find me reading a good book, spending time with family and friends or working on my art.
